Welcome to the internet home of RK Motorsports. We are three generations of racing fanatics who have put our love for motorsports into a racing program for the youngest of the three, Ricky Klitzing. Ricky is 10 years old and in his third season as a Quarter Midget driver. After completing Novice Training and racing in the "non" competitive novice division Ricky finished 5th in points in his first full season racing in the highly competitive QMA Senior Honda division. We will be competing in the Region 10 QMA Series, CA. Monza Series as well as the Club Championship for the Tri-Valley Quarter Midget Association. With a busy schedule our goal is to see a steady improvement of Rickys driving skills and his understanding of racing.

BIG WEEKEND FOR RKMOTORSPORTS!!

Ricky was excited to hit the track for the TVQMA Double Header Weekend. Two full days of racing was on tap and Ricky started the weekend off on the right foot buy putting the RKMOTORSPORTS Sr. Honda into the #1 Qualifying position. He followed that up by running his fastest qualifying lap ever in the Lt. 160 division throwing down a lap of 7.06 seconds and putting his Tice Valley Electric, Stafford Signs 160 in the #3 spot.

In the Main Events in both classes Ricky would pilot his NC Chassis cars to a third place finish.

With his confidence high after a very successful day on Saturday Ricky once again ran a fast time in Sr. Honda. Missing out on another #1 Qualifier by .001 seconds.

In the Sr. Honda Main Ricky led the first 28 laps until getting caught behind slower traffic and being passed by the defending track champion for the lead. Ricky would pull along side Frakes out of turn four but came up just about a half car short for 1st.
